Frequently Asked Questions

What is Flō Networks and what types of services does the company provide?

Flō Networks is a telecommunications and digital infrastructure provider that operates its own fiber-optic network across Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. The company delivers connectivity services to enterprises, large corporates, telecommunications operators, and companies across all major industries.

Our network operates in the United States, Mexico, and 14 countries in Latin America. In Mexico, our fiber-optic network serves more than 60 cities, including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and their metropolitan areas, as well as strategic Bajío cities such as Querétaro, León, Aguascalientes, Puebla, and San Luis Potosí, along with key border cities like Tijuana, Mexicali, Ciudad Juárez, Reynosa, among many others.

One of Flō Networks’ greatest strengths is the integration of Mexico and the United States into a single, unified fiber-optic network. Our binational infrastructure, designed from the outset with this vision, allows information to travel securely and without interruption between countries. The result is a truly seamless connectivity experience for our customers, with lower latency, fewer points of failure, and consistent performance.

Flō serves enterprise customers in Mexico and the United States across multiple industries, with deep experience in the financial, industrial, services, and retail sectors. Our customer base ranges from mid-sized companies to Fortune 500 organizations. In addition, we provide connectivity services to other national and international operators or carriers, as well as to hyper-scalers.

We develop comprehensive connectivity solutions that include dedicated internet access, point-to-point and multipoint links, Enterprise WAN, Managed SD-WAN, dedicated connectivity to public clouds, and security services such as perimeter security, managed security, and network encryption.

Our infrastructure connects from multiple locations in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America to various regions of AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect, IBM Cloud Direct Link, and Oracle FastConnect. For customers in Mexico, we also provide dedicated connectivity to Huawei Cloud. These connections enable dedicated links with high availability (HA), encryption, and service level agreements (SLAs) of up to 99.95%.

To protect cloud-bound traffic, our Secure Cloud Connect solution delivers end-to-end encryption for cloud connections. For the rest of the network, we offer network encryption services, perimeter security, managed security, and Clean Pipes, which mitigates and scrubs malicious traffic against different types of attacks.

Our connectivity solutions offer service level agreements (SLAs) of 99.80%, 99.90%, and 99.95% across different topologies. For customer support and service quality monitoring, our Network Operation Center (NOC) operates 24/7 in Mexico and the United States.
